With the size of most dens, we are looking for a parent in each den to assist the Den Leader in planning and/or presenting at each meeting.
Committee Members:
Participate in monthly meetings decide on activities and events for the Pack.
Adult Volunteer Application MUST be completed by all adults in leadership positions including committee members.

Summer 2017 Activities
Pack 10
at Patriot's Point 2017
Pack 10 scouts enjoyed 3 awesome events over the summer. First, we attended the Charlotte Knights Scout Night and Sleepover where our scouts got to countdown the fireworks out on the field and then camped out in the field overnight. Then we had an Outdoor Movie Night at Harris Lake eating popcorn and candy and watching a great movie. Our last event this summer was the Monster Truck Bash and Scout Sleepover. As a special bonus, Pack 10 was asked to be interviewed by Wilson from WCCB's Wilson's World. (See the video at http://player.gtxcel.com/previews/xo6xylnc-XkGI5ukr) The boys did a great job AND got the ride of their life in a monster truck ON THE ACTUAL TRACK! Then the boys came back for a fun night watching monster trucks at the dirt track and then had an incredible night sleeping over on the infield of the speedway. Thank you boys for the great summer!

Scout Sunday & Service Project
Pack 10, along with Troop 10, celebrated Scout Sunday and participated in an incredible service project opportunity with Troop 10. All of the scouts spent three and a half hours raking leaves, picking up sticks, and cleaning playground equipment at Shiloh United Methodist Church. It was a tough job and our cub scouts worked right along side the big boys in the troop. We are very proud of them!
Flag Retirement & Family Day
Pack 10 and Woodland Discovery hosted an event packed full of fun activities for families of boys in Grades K - 5. We gathered for a Flag Retirement Ceremony performed by Marine Corps League 1175 followed by many adventure activities. Some of the activities were fishing, rain gutter boat races, knot tying, rope bridge crossing, compass maze, and much more. Thank you to the Woodland Discovery team, the Pack 10 team, Troop 10, Ketih Miller, and especially Marine Corps League Detachment 1175!

CubORee
Several Pack 10 families attended the fun, activity filled, and WET Cabarrus CubORee. Despite the rain we had a great time at sling shots, fishing, shooting BB guns, archery, robot building, and camping!

Congratulations to our 2017 Pack 10- Pinewood Derby winners!! All of our racers entered creative and competitive cars and we are proud of all our cub scouts! Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this event fun for our pack families!
Fishing with Pack 10!
470 pounds of food collected!
Pack 10 participated in Scouting for Food again this year in the Moss Creek neighborhood, and we collected 470lbs of nonperishable foods for area food pantries! Thank you to all of the Pack 10 scouts and parents who participated and to all the Moss Creek families who donated food!

Pack 10 had the good fortune to visit Charlotte's FOX 46 TV station. Thank you to Mr. Park for making the tour possible and our tour guide for taking several 1st through 4th grade boys through a a busy station! And a big thank you to Meteorologist Brian Basham for spending so much time teaching our kids about the news business!

Kannapolis Christmas Parades
2016 3rd Place Winners!!!!
Pack 10 Cub Scouts and Leaders took part in the 2015 Kannapois Christmas Parade this past December, and our entry won 3rd place out of over 400 entries!!
Our float was full of lights, tons of holiday spirt, and even a realistic looking fire place!! It is fun to show the community that we are a strong, spirited pack, and we love to have a good time and work hard! Of course, it makes it even sweeter when you win something!
Thank you to our Parade Coordinator, Ms Wright, and all of those in the parade decorating committee who helped make this an amazing experience for the boys!
2015 Pinewood Derby Winners
Pack 10 held it's first annual pinewood derby in April, and it was a huge success! Congratulations to our winners: Brady (1st place - center), Dana (2nd place - right), and Nicolas (3rd place- left)
Brady also took his winning car to the Council Race and came in 2nd place!!! WAY TO GO!!!!

Kannapolis Christmas Parade
Pack 10 cub scouts braved the cold and climbed aboard the Pinewood Derby themed float to show their pride and spirit in the Celebration of Lights Kannapolis Christmas Parade!!
Wilson's World &
Monster Truck Bash
Pack 10 was lucky enough to be on Wilson's World to help advertise for the Circle K Back to School Monster Truck Bash. Our scouts were interviewed and then got to ride around the dirt track in a true live monster truck! Then we went to the Monster Truck event and spent the night at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Reed Gold Mine
Pack 10 scouts took a
trip to Reed Gold Mine
and walked through the
cool, wet mine to see
veins of quartz, into the
mill where rocks were being crushed and sifted, and to the sifting area to sift for gold. We actually had a scout find some! It was a fun, educational, and rewarding day!
Sleeping With the Sharks 2018
Pack 10 scouts braved the Myrtle Beach waters and slept with the sharks! Thanks to Ripley's Aquarium for making our trip won to remember!!
